DO I NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOPS?
Definitely not! Over the years, our workshops have been successfully attended by photographers from all skill levels. From the professional photographers looking to refine their techniques and shoot new images, to enthusiasts eager to learn and complete beginners who just wish to try something new for a day: everyone is welcome, and everyone learns valuable information and techniques, leaving the studio with beautiful new images for their portfolio.
If you are still in doubt whether one of our courses is right for you, just contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
HOW DO I BOOK MY PLACE ON THE WORKSHOPS?
You can easily book a place by navigating on the page of the workshop that you wish to attend and clicking on the 'Buy Now' Paypal button. Once the Paypal website launches, you will be able to pay via Debit / Credit card or via your Paypal account.
If you wish to pay directly via debit or credit card, please contact us and we will provide you with the information you need.
HOW DO I BOOK A ONE-TO-ONE LESSON?
Our one-to-one lessons are 100% tailored to your work and specific requirements. After an initial email or phone consultation, you will be advised the most suitable one-to-one plans for your needs and objectives. Payments can then be made via Debit / Credit card transfer or via Paypal account.
I BOOKED MY PLACE ON A WORKSHOP. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
After placing your booking you will receive a confirmation email within two days. Unfortunately these emails can sometimes end up in the spam folder, so make sure to check in there!
A few days before the workshop you will receive a second email containing a summary of all information relevant to your class such as times, location, what to bring and so on.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
For our Fashion Photography and Studio Lighting workshops: please remember to bring your camera with fully charged batteries and empty memory cards, as well as pen and paper for notes.
If you are unsure on what lenses or equipment to bring, contact us and we will be happy to advise.
For our Retouching workshop: whenever possible, please bring your laptop and mouse or pen tablet, as well as a few RAW files and pen and paper for notes.
WILL I BE FOLLOWED INDIVIDUALLY DURING THE WORKSHOP?
Yes. Our workshops have a maximum class size of only 10 photographers to guarantee that everyone gets plenty of guidance and personal advice. Every photographer will have the time to photograph the models individually with complete freedom over posing, camera settings and props amongst other things. Whenever possible, the attendees will be divided in two groups of 5 and work on two separate sets to maximise the individual shooting time.
All students will have the opportunity to be advised and mentored by the tutor one-to-one and have their personal questions answered at all times.
HOW CAN I USE THE IMAGES THAT I HAVE TAKEN AT THE WORKSHOPS?
The images taken at our workshops can be used as personal/portfolio images and showcased on your own website or social media channels. The images cannot be used for editorial or commercial use without our written consent.
Please remember to credit all images taken at our classes as 'Rossella Vanon Workshops' followed by full team credits whenever shared.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A WORKSHOPS GETS POSTPONED OR CANCELLED?
In the unlikely event that a workshop gets postponed or cancelled your workshop ticket fee will be promptly refunded in full with the same payment method you used to book. We are not liable for other expenses outside of the workshop fee, such as hotel bookings or plane tickets.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
All of our classes are organised in advance and tailored to the number of bookings received. For this reason we are only able to issue refunds to requests submitted at least 30 days prior to the date of the workshop.
However, we know how unpredictable life can be and, should you not be able to attend a class you have paid for, we will do our best to move your booking to the next available workshop date.
HOW CAN I BE INFORMED OF NEW WORKSHOP DATES?
You can join our mailing list by entering your email address in the form at the bottom of the main page, or you can ask us to add your address and we will do that for you. No spam, we promise!
Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Instagram.
CAN I BUY THE WORKSHOP AS A GIFT?
Yes! Simply book the workshop of your choice in the usual way and then contact us. We will send you a beautiful personalised gift voucher to impress!
